 Heard of IPod-itis?
This is a must read for all those who are addicted to their iPods and love to enjoy music in full volume.
Dr. Tony Kay, a British Audiologist, from a Liverpool hospital, has warned music lovers about the dangers of listening to music on their iPod in full volume. He speaks of a condition, called iPod-itis, a word coined by him to refer to a medical condition called tinnitus or ringing in the ears.

He is alarmed by the increasing numbers of teenagers visiting his clinic, with symptoms of tinnitus, caused due to constant exposure to loud music.

Dr. Kay also warned that constant exposure to loud noise could increase the risks of going deaf later in life.
